In Those Days

"And ye shall hear of Wars and rumors of Wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For Nation shall rise up against Nation and Kingdom against Kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilence, and Earthquakes in divers places." Matthew 24:7-8

Famines
Wars
Disease
Earthquakes
Pestilence

All of these things are signs of the times. We are living in some of the most trying times in History, but we are also living in some of the most exciting times as well.

Though all these things may be going on around us, it does not mean we have to be part of it. Though the pressures of life try to close in on us, there is a way out, a way of escape.

"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." 1 Corinthians 10:13

God has said in His Word, "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing Love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you."

In all the distresses of life, God's unfailing Love toward us never waivers or is shaken. It remains constant toward us. God has not left us without help. Even though we have turned our backs on him, and have gone our own ways. He has throughout the eons of time still Loved us.

"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrated his own Love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:6-8

"For God so Loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." John 3:16-17

God knows what we are going through, and it hurts his heart to see us that way. All he asks is that you seek him and call upon him in your times of fear and despair.

"Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him: and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." Isaiah 55:6-7

It's as simple as that. God is calling out to all that will hear his voice, and his desire is to see you free from every bondage. Friend, God is not against you, but for you, and His Love for you is Unshakeable.

If there has ever been a time to seek the Lord, That time is Now! With all the uncertainties that this generation is faced with, we need a sure foundation to stand upon, and Friend. Christ is that sure foundation. The call goes out; "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest...."
